Business Analyst

The Business Analyst is the bridge between our clients, sales, and development team — involved both during the sales process (pre-sales) and after the sale (implementation and support). You will gather and document client requirements, design the Odoo solution together with the Developer, and configure the system yourself where possible. This is a hybrid role: roughly 70% functional / analytical and 30% hands-on technical (configuration, studio customizations, light development).

Key Responsibilities

​Pre-Sales (with Sales Consultant)

    • Join discovery meetings and demos to understand the prospect's business operations and pain points.
    • Gather and document requirements, current workflows, and gaps.
    • Prepare the proposed Odoo solution design, scope, and effort estimation together with the Developer.
    • Support the Sales Consultant with tailored demonstrations and proof-of-concepts.

​Post-Sales (Implementation & Support)

    • Own the requirements documentation: business process maps, functional specifications, and user stories.
    • Configure Odoo modules directly (Sales, CRM, Inventory, Manufacturing, Accounting, Website) — hands-on setup without heavy coding.
    • Work side-by-side with the Developer on customizations: explain the need, validate the solution, and test the result.
    • Deliver user training, prepare documentation, and support go-live.
    • Maintain strong ongoing customer relationships: act as the client's trusted point of contact, handle feedback, and identify improvement or upsell opportunities.

Required Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Functional Consultant, or ERP Consultant (Odoo strongly preferred).
  • Strong understanding of business operations in retail and/or manufacturing: sales, inventory, procurement, production, and basic accounting.
  • Hands-on Odoo configuration experience (able to set up modules, workflows, access rights, reports).
  • Basic technical literacy (~30% developer profile): comfortable with Odoo Studio, data imports, simple automations; able to read/understand technical concepts and communicate effectively with developers. Python/SQL basics are a plus.
  • Excellent communication and customer relationship skills — able to speak both "business" and "technical" language.
  • Strong documentation and analytical skills.

Optional / Nice-to-Have

  • Odoo functional certification.
  • Experience with UAT planning and user training delivery.
  • Project management basics (agile or waterfall).
